Diamond Hard Coat is a two-part premium glass finish epoxy resin, formulated for enhanced resistance to UV light discoloration.
Diamond Hard Coat UV Resistant Premium Epoxy Resin is a two-parts epoxy resin formulated for use as a hard, clear laminating resin for fiberglass, timber, concrete, canvas and other materials. It can also be used as an adhesive, a clear finish coat or decoupage and for filling shallow cavities.

DIRECTIONS:
Work at temperatures in between 20°- 30°C. Set art piece a few centimeters above the work surface to allow for resin over run. Measure 2-part A resin to 1 part B hardener by volume. A 250ml mix, will remain fluid for around 30 minutes at 25°C. A 1 litre mix can be made, then poured out into smaller containers for individual tinting. Pour colour mixes onto a canvas until surplus resin falls over the edges, for extra bubble release lightly pass a propane torch flame over the surface to assist in bubble release. Let the art piece set for an hour then wipe or scrape off any drips from the edges of the canvas.
MIX RATIO:
Mix : 2 part A to 1 part B by volume, into a straight sided mixing container. The batch mix size can be up to 16 Litres for mixing in an open pail or bucket. Blend with a paint mixer using a power drill on slow speed. Mix evenly for several minutes until an even clear mix is achieved. Air bubbles will quickly rise out once poured.
PRODUCT STORAGE:
Always keep caps on bottles when not in use. Store at room temperature (18°) away from direct sunlight.
Do not store on concrete floors.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear protective gloves and glasses when mixing and using. Over-exposure may cause sensitization. Uncured material can be removed with a solvent or methylated spirit followed by washing
with warm soapy water. Always wear a mask when using any solvent cleaner.
TIPS FOR USE:
Note resins and hardeners’ have a tendency to go thick and cloudy in cold weather. Check materials are clear and free flowing before using. Material can be reconstitution by standing the bottles with caps removed, in very hot water and stir the contents until the liquids are runny and non-cloudy. Allow to cool back to room temperature before proceeding with mixing.| Curing temp 20°C |
