I have used this journal several times and find it an economical price for I enjoy this size and it’s many pages for mixed media wet and dry . I add gesso on the pages if I need extra support and find the book a great asset for any budding artist .

Great cream coloured thick multimedia paper. It can handle gouache, acrylic pens, water-based brush pens, inks and ink sprays, watercolour pencils and paint with light wash and pastels. The paper is smooth and most medium glide easily over and it creates a great finish. Really nice for detailed designs, stencilling and stamping and mediums do not bleed. I would not suggest using very watery mediums as the paper is not that absorptive and it will buckle slightly if you flood it. But otherwise, it is the perfect creative journal to experiment with lots of mediums and ideas. The journal itself has a beautiful finish and would make a lovely gift for someone. There are so many pages to fill. Great value for money compared to similar journals I have seen on the market.
