A soft, paste-like painting medium made from naturally white, unbleached beeswax, Gamsol odourless mineral spirit and a small amount of alkyd resin. Mixed with oil colour, it increases body, creates a matte finish and supports impasto, layering, scraping and other textured techniques.

Cold Wax Medium can be thinned with a small amount of Gamsol for brushing. Adding Galkyd increases flexibility and sheen. Mixtures containing more than one-third Cold Wax Medium should be used on a rigid panel rather than flexible canvas.

We provide a shipping structure based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order. All available options and their costs are shown to you before you pay. We service Australia Post Standard, Australia Post Express, and road freight for bulky items, as well as free Click & Collect within Victoria for items stocked at our Clayton warehouse. Some items are shipped from partner warehouses - if this is the case for one or more of the items in your order, the order may be fulfilled in separate deliveries and can be dispatched separately. Estimated standard shipping times for metro areas are between 2–5 business days, and 2-3 business days for Express Shipping. During busy periods shipping can take longer.
