Gamblin’s leanest oil-painting medium, formulated for three principal uses: creating fluid underpaintings, preparing wooden panels for oil painting, and oiling out dry paint layers to restore colour saturation.

Made from Gamsol, safflower oil and soy-based alkyd resin, it increases paint flow and transparency without producing a high-gloss surface. It dries to a subtle satin or semi-gloss finish. Thin washes made with traditional underpainting colours generally become touch-dry within 24–48 hours.

Riot Art & Craft offers free delivery on orders over $59.00 excluding Express Post and Big and Bulky deliveries. We provide a shipping structure based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order. All available options and their costs are shown to you before you pay. We service Australia Post Standard, Australia Post Express, and road freight for bulky items, as well as free Click & Collect within Victoria for items stocked at our Clayton warehouse. Some items are shipped from partner warehouses - if this is the case for one or more of the items in your order, the order may be fulfilled in separate deliveries and can be dispatched separately. Estimated standard shipping times for metro areas are between 2–5 business days, and 2-3 business days for Express Shipping. During busy periods shipping can take longer.
