Atelier Retarder 250mL Medium
Add to acrylics to slow down the drying time and increase the open time of acrylic paints. INTERACTIVE MEDIUM: For slow drying wet-in-wet techniques. Use with Atelier Interactive & other artists' acrylics. Particularly useful when painting wet-over-wet-over-dry techniques. Retarder makes blending with acrylic colours easier. Note: Retarder is a paint additive. It is different to painting mediums in that it does not contain a binding agent. This means that only a certain amount of additive can be mixed with acrylic paint before the mixture becomes unstable.
Do not add excess Retarder or the paint will not cure. Recommended volume is usually 10%. Clean up with mild soap & cool water. Water-Based & Non-Toxic.
