Description
Gesso is an amazing product that can be used to prime any surface for acrylic painting, and Jo Sonja's Black Gesso has a very fine grit with a strong toothy finish that will adhere your colours wonderfully! As a black gesso any surface primed will be extremely dark, which makes it a smart way to really make your bright colours pop off the canvas, whether they be pastel, neon or bright basic colours. You can thin the texture of this gesso with Flow Medium or change the hue by adding careful amounts of other Jo Sonja's Artist's Colours. Be sure to use at least two coats to ensure your surface is completely covered and primed!
