Use this Atelier Gesso Primer when you want a stable matte surface that is perfect for acrylic and oil painting. The fast-drying and waterproof gesso has a high-grit content that will create a toothy surface for you to paint on that holds colour and creates interesting textures when used. The heavy gesso can also be used for a smoother finish- simply dilute the mixture and sand down to your desired texture between coats.
