Although most of the pencils and sticks in this set are black and grey for sketching, artists will find the colours of grey, black, dark brown, rich brown, warm brown and dusty yellow in pastels to provide warm, neutral colours in their artwork if desired. Otherwise, artists can sketch with graphite pencils and sticks or charcoal sticks and pencils, including four special vine charcoal sticks for softer, smudger charcoal work. All of these pencils and pastels can be shaped using the included sharpener and sandpaper block, and their colours smudged and softened using the paper blenders. You can also use the kneadable eraser not only to fix mistakes and clean up lines, but to add textures and patterns in pencil work! Every piece fits neatly into the gorgeous wooden box, making this a fantastic sketch set for travelling with, either to school, work or even on holidays!
