Art Star Make Your Own Butterfly Tissue Paper Art

This tissue paper butterfly activity is another one planned for over the summer holidays.

The butterfly is quite large, 18cm wide and just under 13cm high. The image is printed on heavy card with an adhesive layer on top, covered by a protective sheet.

There are small squares of tissue paper in assorted colours that need to be scrunched up into tight balls to fill the image, like a 3D mosaic. The protective sheet gets peeled off and the tissue paper balls get placed over the design, with the project finished off by adding the self adhesive googly eyes that come with the kit.
