Create luminous, colour-shifting effects with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Opal Colours Set. These traditional Japanese watercolour paints produce a delicate pearlescent shimmer on white paper and a stronger metallic finish on dark-coloured surfaces.
The rich, creamy paints activate easily with a wet brush and can be diluted for transparent washes or applied with less water for more intense colour. The shades can be mixed with one another or combined with other water-based paints and inks, making them ideal for illustration, painting, calligraphy, brush lettering, journalling and mixed-media artwork.
Made in Japan using interference pearl pigments that reflect different colours as the light or viewing angle changes.

We service Australia Post Standard, Australia Post Express, and road freight for bulky items, as well as free Click & Collect within Victoria for items stocked at our Clayton warehouse. Some items are shipped from partner warehouses - if this is the case for one or more of the items in your order, the order may be fulfilled in separate deliveries and can be dispatched separately. Estimated standard shipping times for metro areas are between 2–5 business days, and 2-3 business days for Express Shipping. During busy periods shipping can take longer.
