Gamvar Satin is a virtually odourless, ready-to-use picture varnish that enriches colours while providing a unified, protective satin finish with less reflection than gloss varnish. Developed with the National Gallery of Art, it is suitable for oil, alkyd and acrylic paintings and can be removed with Gamsol for future conservation.

Apply a thin coat with a soft varnish brush only after the thickest areas of the painting are thoroughly dry and firm. Shake well before and during use to keep the satin matting agents evenly dispersed. Do not spray.

We service Australia Post Standard, Australia Post Express, and road freight for bulky items, as well as free Click & Collect within Victoria for items stocked at our Clayton warehouse. Some items are shipped from partner warehouses - if this is the case for one or more of the items in your order, the order may be fulfilled in separate deliveries and can be dispatched separately. Estimated standard shipping times for metro areas are between 2–5 business days, and 2-3 business days for Express Shipping. During busy periods shipping can take longer.
