These paints work really well, the tube makes them handy for travel and saves on product as it doesn’t dry out in the tube. Looks like acrylic paint but works just as watercolour should once you mix it with water.

I was reluctant to try this brand. I mainly use M.G, DS and other "bigger" brands. But since the cost of purchasing them in AUS is ridiculously high, I started searching for a cheaper paint for practicing. This paint really surprised me with its quality. First of all, the line mainly uses single pigment in its paint (if not all as I didn't purchase all the colours). It is very important as single pigments mix more reliably (clean mixes, more vibrant). In this case Crimson is created pigment PR149. Secondly, I think the colour is quite accurate. In some cheaper brands, the colours always seem a bit off (e.g. too orangy) which is not the case for Eraldo Di Paolo. Thirdly, I like how the colour doesn't lose as much saturation as other cheaper brands when dry. Last but not least, the price point of this line is unbeatable when it is on sales. I would come back for more colours for sure.
