Derwent Watercolour Pencils have a water-soluable core that is ideal for creating watercolour paintings with the convenience of a pencil.
Watercolour Pencils are highly pigmented, have a soft texture when applied to paper and are wasy to blend.
Lay down dry colour then add water to achieve a variety of effects, or use on wet paper to produce brighter washes with soft edges, colour can then be re-wet and moved around the page.
