Smooth and silky, this Bass Wood Panel from The Art Studio is suitable for all mediums and has a solid pine frame on the back. It can be primed with gesso in preparation for painting with oil and acrylic colours, which will flow easily onto the board's even surface. Bass wood is also suitable for creating amazing works of pyrography art thanks to its soft surface and almost non-existent grain, with its pale colour making incredibly light and dark burns possible. This panel has been cradled, meaning the board's structure will not warp over time.
