Description
Art Spectrum Cobalt Green is an opaque, semi-transparent, bright green on the cooler side of the spectrum. Cobalt Green is popular among the landscape painters as it is great in representing foliage. It can also be used in portraiture as it is ideal for muting down European Flesh Tones. It was discovered by Swedish chemist Sven Rinman in 1780 by making a compound of cobalt and zinc.
